Overview

Production at a print company runs in shifts. The HRIS gives employees one place to clock in and submit requests, and gives owners one place to approve them and see who is working right now.

The challenge

Attendance, leave, overtime, and shift changes were handled through chat and paper forms. Approvals were slow, corrections were hard to trace, and payroll inputs had to be rebuilt by hand every month.

What I built

• Employee portal — attendance, permission and sick leave, overtime, cash advance, day swaps and shift swaps, attendance corrections, and absence records.
• Owner portal — approval queues for every request type, invalid-attendance review, and a live shift monitor.
• Rules in the system — each request follows a clear status flow, so every approval and correction leaves a trace for payroll.

Results

Requests that used to wait in chat threads are now submitted, approved, and recorded in one system that payroll can trust.
